BREAKING: Second Fox News Host DEAD Just Days After First — Nobody Saw This One Coming

For the second time in one week, Fox News has suffered a second death of one of their show hosts. The tragic announcement was just made on Sean Hannity this morning, shocking everyone at the network and viewers at the same time who didn’t see this passing coming.

Just a couple of days after it was announced that 55-year-old Fox Business host, Brenda Buttner had lost her short battle to cancer, the news network was rocked by a sudden death that they weren’t prepared for. Hannity’s close colleague and former co-host on his show Hannity & Colmes, Alan Colmes, is dead at the age of 66, Mediaite reported.

According to Fox News, Colmes passed unexpectedly after a brief illness. Although the condition that killed him was not specified, nobody was expecting him to die since he had only been ill a short time. Hannity spoke fondly of his friend on his show this morning, referring to him as “one of the nicest, kindest, and most generous people.”

Colmes’ loved ones he leaves behind just released a statement on his untimely passing which reads in part:

He was a great guy, brilliant, hysterical, and moral. He was fiercely loyal, and the only thing he loved more than his work was his life with [wife] Jocelyn [EliseCrowley]. He will be missed. The family asks for privacy during this very difficult time.

While Colmes’ political stance was different than the other hosts and contributors on Fox News, he was one of the rare liberals who was respectful and appreciative of other people’s opinions. He reportedly never allowed these differences to come in between friendships or his interactions with his conservative colleagues. This man was clearly an individual of great character who leaves a professional legacy behind that many in his field can learn from.
