Obama Plays The Race Card: ‘Americans Don’t Like Me Because I’m Black

Well, this is nothing new. Rather than taking accountability for his actions and failures, President Obama is blaming his low approval rates on racism.

In an interview with The New Yorker, Obama ignored the state of the country and our economy, his own scandals that have been brought to light, or any pressing issues of relevance. Instead, he focused on the color of this skin to explain why people don’t like him.

“There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president,” Obama to the magazine, ignoring the fact that nearly half of his voters were white.

“The flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black president,” he continued.

Unfortunately for Obama, the race card is not likely to distract from a 60% approval rating. And we can’t imagine his deferred accountability is doing much to help his image either. The truth is, many Americans are simply looking for a leader; one that can take actions when times get tough and take responsibility for their role as the leader of our country.

What do you think? Are you sick of Obama making excuses?
